Philip Compton is a film editor, originally from Reno, Nevada. He is currently studying film at the University of Texas at Austin.
Philip is heavily involved in the independent film scene in Austin, collaborating frequently with organizations like Texas Student Television, Bevo Video Productions, M and M Productions, and various independent Austin filmmakers. Recently, his work on Let There Be Light premiered at the iconic Paramount Theater in Austin.
In his spare time, Philip loves to play basketball, collect vinyl records, and find new local restaurants in Austin.
